Passion fruit processing

Equipment, from fruit reception to filling

Explore ten equipment assemblies for handling, finishing, vacuum processing, thermal treatment and bulk packaging. Each machine connects to a defined material and duty.

Receive & prepare

Controlled handling before the fruit is opened.

Inclined fruit elevator with lower receiving section, side guarding and raised discharge platform
An installed fruit-handling configuration showing the receiving and elevated discharge arrangement.

Receiving and transfer

Whole-fruit intake elevator

Bring received passion fruit to the next operating height with a controlled feed onto an inclined belt. The receiving hopper, belt arrangement and discharge position form a practical connection between fruit intake, washing and the opening station.

Horizontal brush washing bed with overhead spray bar and orange spray nozzles
Brush-bed and overhead-spray construction for whole-fruit surface washing.

Preparation before opening

Brush and spray fruit washer

Clean the outside of whole fruit before the peel is opened. A horizontal brush bed and overhead spray arrangement combine surface contact with rinsing, with the contact conditions selected around the incoming passion fruit.

Flat inspection conveyor with pale belt, stainless frame, side rails and lower guarded drive
A flat-belt conveyor arrangement for manual inspection and material transfer.

Sorting before extraction

Fruit inspection and transfer conveyor

Present whole passion fruit along an accessible belt for manual inspection and transfer. A defined inspection position allows operators to remove unacceptable fruit before it enters the opening and pulp-collection stages.

Separate & connect

Define the pulp specification and maintain the product flow.

Two stacked screened pulping chambers with separate blue drives on a common stainless frame
Two screened stages and their drives combined in one pulping and refining machine.

After opening and pulp collection

Two-stage pulp finisher

Refine the collected seed-bearing pulp through a coordinated two-stage screened machine. The two driven chambers form one unit, selected around the required juice or pulp texture and the behaviour of the prepared passion fruit feed.

Connected process vessels and lower pipework illustrate a liquid-handling arrangement.

Keep the liquid stages connected

Process buffer tanks and transfer

Use a defined liquid buffer between extraction and the next continuous process. Process vessels, level control and a matched transfer arrangement help accommodate feed variation while keeping the passion fruit product on a deliberate, cleanable route.

Treat & concentrate

Select the vacuum and thermal stages for the intended product.

Tall vacuum deaerator vessel with upper column, gauges, two lower pump drives and a left-side control cabinet
A vacuum vessel with associated pumps, pipework and a separate control cabinet.

Air management in the liquid section

Vacuum juice deaerator

Introduce the prepared liquid into a controlled vacuum chamber to release entrained and dissolved gases. Vessel level, inlet condition, discharge pumping and the vacuum system work together to supply a steady liquid stream to the next process.

Outdoor industrial evaporation installation with tall vessels, pipework, platforms and access ladders
An industrial evaporation installation illustrating the scale of the vessels, platforms and utility connections.

Concentration with a defined solids balance

Vacuum evaporation system

Remove water from a prepared passion fruit juice stream under reduced pressure. The evaporation arrangement, heat supply, vapour separation and product circulation are selected together around feed composition, target concentration and the required product quality.

Tubular thermal skid with upper horizontal pipe banks, central vessel, pumps and right-side control cabinet
Tubular process skid with pipe banks, a central vessel, transfer components and control cabinet.

Heat, hold and cool the specified product

Tubular thermal processing system

Bring the prepared juice, pulp or concentrate through a controlled heating, holding and cooling sequence. The tubular system connects product transfer, heat exchange, process monitoring and the downstream filling requirement in one specified thermal duty.

Fill & clean

Connect the package and the cleaning circuits.

Two-position aseptic bag filling arrangement with central control cabinet, drum rollers and blue drums
A two-position bulk filling arrangement with drum handling and a central control cabinet.

The packing end of the ingredient line

Aseptic bulk bag filling system

Transfer treated passion fruit juice, pulp or concentrate into the selected aseptic bag format. The filling head, bag fitment, process connections and container handling work as a coordinated packing system downstream of the established product treatment.

Three-tank CIP station with gauges, lower valves and pumps, connecting manifold and right-side control cabinet
Three-tank cleaning-station construction with pumps, a valve manifold and control cabinet.

A circuit designed for each connected duty

CIP cleaning station

Supply and return cleaning fluids through defined product circuits. The CIP station combines solution storage, pumping, heating where specified, valves and controls with the return conditions required by the connected processing equipment.
